Antonio Banderas is the stage name of Jose Antonio Dominguez Bandera, a Spanish actor, singer, and producer. One of the most recognizable Spanish actors in Hollywood is him.
He made his acting debut in many films directed by Pedro Almodovar. Following that, he had cameos in several films, including Assassins, Spy Kids, Philadelphia, The Mask of Zorro, and Interview with the Vampire.
Banderas received his first acting role in Pedro Almodóvar’s 1982 film Labyrinth of Passion.
He appeared in the director’s film Law of Desire five years later. He would subsequently collaborate with Pedro on his films “Matador” (1986), “Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown” (1988), and “Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!” (1988). In 1991, Banderas made his Hollywood debut.
